Kevin Green

Mitie – Waste Match Director

With a background in process engineering, Kevin recognised the building climate emergency in 1999 and set to work doing his bit to change how the commercial world treat our assets. He firstly focused on redirecting the stream of surplus assets pouring out of businesses towards community projects and small business. As this stream became a tidal wave, he pushed back with Waste Match. Waste Match has been at the forefront of encouraging business to reuse their own assets better, remanufacturing the assets that they have, to get the assets that they need and linking businesses together to create reuse networks producing some stunning savings both financial and environmental. Waste Match continues to drive the social, economic, and ecological need to keep our manufactured assets in use for as long as possible.
